Crispy Tofu Steaks

Crispy Tofu Picatta

Ingredients:

  1. Extra Firm Tofu

  2. Breadcrumbs- 2tbsp

  3. Nutritional Yeast- 1tbsp

  4. Garlic Salt- 1tsp

  5. Italian Seasoning - 1tsp

  6. Corn Starch- toss some in a bowl

  7. Soy Milk- about 1/2 cup

  8. Organic marinara ( I prefer SPROUTS) - as desired

Directions:

Slice Tofu block into rectangle steaks

Place Cornstarch on one plate

Place Soy milk on one plate

Mix bread crumbs, nutritional yeast, garlic salt, and Italian seasoning on one plate

Place Tofu on the cornstarch plate and cover all sides with cornstarch, then shake off

Then, submerge the tofu with cornstarch in Soy Milk.

Then, place the coated Tofu in the breadcrumbs.

Place in Air Fryer at 350 Degrees for 9 Minutes

Pour marinara over Tofu Steaks and Enjoy!!

Can also be put on protein pasta for a more round meal. **
